Dunedin Florida Downtown - Christmas Celebration

Dunedin Florida Downtown Old Fashioned ChristmasCan you guess where I will be Friday evening? That's right, I will be downtown, checking out the wonderful Christmas goings-on. It should be a lot of fun. The City of Dunedin is putting on what they call An Old Fashioned Christmas. There will be entertainment from local churches and schools, carriage rides, train rides, Santa's Workshop, "Dickens Village" and lots more. And tomorrow night, Saturday, they will have the Holiday Boat Parade and Tree Lighting. I hope to be able to post pictures from these events in future posts.

  2. I am looking forward seeing your pictures that surely will remind me of tne chrismas I have enjoyed in Washington DC in the early 80's. But I will discover them when I am back from my vacation since i am leaving this evening.

  6. Oh, yes, old fashioned does it! Today's photo shows a lovely shopping area. It must look awesome in the evenings. Would love to see the rest of the pix. :)

(The photos of the backyard deer you saw were shot from inside our cottage, in early June. The backyard bears were not shot by me. We've never seen bears at the cottage, at least not in our backyard, but our neighbors have because they leave their bird feeders out in the summer, so... There's a bear den in the woods, about a half mile from the cottages.)
