Dunedin, Florida: The Dunedin Cove Motel WEEK... DAY... HOUR... NICE... CLEAN

I have been looking forward to posting this one ever since I first saw the sign. I love it. When is the last time you saw a motel sign advertising by the HOUR? It cracks me up. It's like some kind of deliciously scandalous throwback to another time.

    Yeah. I did a sleep study in one in April. It wasn't suppose to be a motel but it reminded me of those used in Japan for soldiers and prostitutes. Nowadays I try to avoid anything that even remotely reminds me of them.

    I cracked up when I saw that sign. I managed that motel for 3 yrs and I know that it is illegal to rent rooms by the hour and to advertise it. Didnt the cops notice it? I saw it up fow weeks.
