This place is on my list of buildings I would like to take the time to record thoroughly, with my camera. It's old. It's industrial. It's metal. It's rusty. I love it. I'm one of those people who, IF he had millions, would buy old places like this (and old barns) and turn them into really cool homes that look like old rusty buildings. Makes perfect sense doesn't it?
While I look at something like this and think it should be recycled, I also think how wonderful it is that Nature can, in time, completely wipe away all traces of our existence. Or perhaps I should give that credit to Time, not Nature. Or perhaps it is the Nature of Time? Or they work together? What do you think?

I only mention this because it happens that many World War II era buildings or buildings used to make World War II things, stuff, often are contaminated with all sorts of things. You can check it out in your local historical society to be sure.
ReplyDeleteAnyway. Nice photograph.
Do you see my photo of my car going 65 mph?
Hi Wayne,
ReplyDeleteI understand your facination with old buildings and things like that; your a local history buff. Spending some time with the local historical society would probably be a very enjoyable way to spend some time.
