I was standing in Downtown Dunedin the other evening, practicing my moving-subject snapography, when this way cool couple went gliding by. I was looking through my camera the whole time, and she kept her peace sign up as they approached and passed me. I was so impressed. What cool people I thought.
As to the bike, I am afraid none of the shots are good enough to be sure what the make is. It would be natural to assume that it is a Harley Davidson, but I don't know for certain that it is not a Honda or a Yamaha or some other new brand that makes Harley style motorcycles.
If you are in the market for motorcycle parts, or motorcycle accessories, or motorcycle protective gear, shopping through these links or the banner below helps to support Dunedin Daily Photo. Thanks!
Cool photography too!
ReplyDeleteHi Wayne,
ReplyDeleteI love motorcycles so I think this is a great shot.
The bike looks like a Harley but they've been copied so much it's hard to tell. The easiest way to know is by the sound. Harley's have a very strange firing sequence that gives them a unique sound; it sounds like potatopotatopotato. This sound can only be achieved by using Harley's unique engine design. The only other company that used it was Honda with the Shadow ACE; there was a court case over it; Harley lost but they made they're point;Honda dropped the ACE. Pretty sad...come on Honda; stop copying...be original.
Thx for the pic W. Isn't it thrilling that people here enjoy life and want to play?
ReplyDeleteTHIS is one of the many reasons that drew me here, not golf or weather, but this. Other people happy to be here and ready to play.
Those are some nasty lookin tats!
