Standing on a Downtown Dunedin street corner, near the Dunedin Marina, practicing my action photography, I snapped this neat looking boat. I don't know where it was heading, or where it came from, but I am pretty happy with how that shot turned out. Thank you Nikon! Let's here it for being able to preview the shot immediately.
This turns out to be a great way, for me, to practice the panning action shot. I can stand there on the corner and snap away at people in cars. Some give me strange looks, many never even notice I am there. Later, I will post a snap of a man on a motorcycle who didn't really look all that happy about me photographing him. But then, maybe he was thinking about something else entirely.

You would almost need to post a sign several feet before "cars" get to you saying "Photographer ahead" or somebody might stop and snatch your dignity or camera.
ReplyDeleteThere is some increasing uneasiness about being photographed. I suspect it is somehow related to 9/11.
This is a nice picture and you panned pretty good it looks to me like.
Hi Wayne,
ReplyDeleteHopefully he's buying a cover for that thing...sheesh that's ugly!
