It's true you know... If we all just disappeared, nature would eventually overcome every thing we have done, and most signs of our existence would simply vanish. As strange as it may sound, I find some comfort in that. To me, that means as much as we might, as a species, wreck this little blue ball called Earth, it might just be able to recover one day.
Whether that will be after we have killed ourselves off, or after we have really come to our senses and stopped killing the planet, I don't know. I guess I hope we will be able to survive with the planet, instead of us having to die off in order for the planet to survive.

Interesting, Wayne. I am reading a memoir written by a woman who traveled all over the world and stayed in placed basically untouched by modern technology. It was quite interesting to read her description of the natural world.
