First, I really must thank those of you who noticed I had not posted in a couple of days. I felt really bad about it, but I was heartened by the nice inquiries I received as to my status, and hopeful I was continuing the Dunedin Daily Photo. Thank you very much. Yes, I am continuing. But I have been truant I am afraid.
Also, I would like to thank all of you who stop in to see the latest postings. I am flattered that you check out my website, and truly honored to have a place in your busy days. Thank you. If you are some of those who leave comments, many more thanks to you again. It is nice to get comments that give me an idea if I have touched your life, or even just provided some decent distraction from life for a few minutes. Thanks!
So, we went on a little road trip! We headed down south to Sarasota to see the beautiful Selby Gardens. It was wonderful. I took lots of pictures, and some of them might even be worth posting here! But I know so many of you have heard about, if not actually crossed, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, so I wanted to post this photo of it from Wednesday as we headed south. As you can see, they are re-painting the main cables again. What a job! What an awesome bridge!

Hello - found your blog via the daily photograph from Kyoto. I grew up in St. Pete and I hate that bridge with a burning and fiery passion. It always scared the hell out of me, even before it go knocked down. I still have a horror of high steep bridges and cannot drive across them myself.
ReplyDeleteI'll surely be back to see what "home" looks like these days.
