I was so surprised and chagrined to realize that after 70 posts, I still had not posted a picture of this sign. You can find these signs in a number of places around Dunedin, at the edges, I should say. You can see the Christmas decorations on this one still.
This is just another thing that the City of Dunedin has done so well. They have branded this little city, in a way. Around here, when you see this sign, even if the lettering were gone, you would know it was the Welcome To Dunedin sign. Pretty nice work if you ask me.
And speaking of things the City of Dunedin has done right... Dunedin’s Fifth Annual Diverse-City Week kicks off with a full day of events on Saturday, January 19th. They really put on quite a few Diversity events. Click here to get more information from the City of Dunedin website. While you are there, scroll down a little further for information on a free Sustainability seminar on Energy Conservation.

Attractive sign, I am guessing the bag pipe player is part of the sign?
ReplyDeleteIt sure beats the Rotary and VFW and Chamber of Commerce signs that dot the entrance of most cities.
ReplyDeleteNice sign for one of Dunedin's entrances.
ReplyDeleteThis is a photo which would have been good to start your photo blog out with.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are on 70th post! You beat me good even though you started late. :) Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comments. You are indeed very funny (to think of wearing that outfit just to flip people out). Easier than wearing/growing a mohawk. ;)
