From this spot, it is only a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, various shops, and more. Just a little further, no more than 5 or 10 minutes drive, are the Downtown Dunedin area, Mease Hospital Dunedin, Westfield Countryside Mall, and much, much, more. Oh, and it might come in handy for you to know, should you be wanting to search for something in Dunedin, Florida, or map something here, that the zip code is 34698.
I'd sit in that chair and watch the world go by, enjoying your weather every moment of the day.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what the style of this house is called in your area? Raised ranch?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very pleasant and comfortable neighborhood. There ought to be plenty of room in a sprawling house like that - wonderful flat lawn.
ReplyDeleteYou are most kind, willing to rent a boat so I can come along. Would love to! and should you ever be in Budapest, we'll take a boat on the Danube while sipping our drink - (can't promise a margarita) and leave the 'driving' to others. :)
The house and the photo are beautiful. I like the light... I think houses are much more expensive here, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteOdysseum is at a 15 minutes' walk from my place. There is a free parking lot and you can take the bus or the tram to go there. There are several stops.
It would be called a story and a half up here where I live as the top floor isn't full 8 foot high walls, but they get away with it by using the rafters as the ceiling so it looks like arched ceilings inside. It is prices about right for property here too.
ReplyDeleteIt must be from around the 1970s or 1980s.
I like the photograph you took of it and the colors and textures in the photo.
This house looks like its in a nice neighborhood too. I am really getting a view into Dunedin with your blog, and appreciate your photographs and background information.
ReplyDeleteit does look like a typical house . i can't tell what's in the back and how big it is but except for the colour it looks a bit boring . and 219 000 $ for a smaller one? wow !i don't know , it seems a bit too much for me . but , hey , it's florida ! if i think about what you get beside the house i guess it's a good price . hahaha
ReplyDeleteabout my picture , it wasn't me ! the pigeon did all the hard work !
Christmas decorations and Florida just don't seem to go together for me (smile). The chances of snow are almost non existent and how else will Santa's reindeer be able to land on the rooftops ... You can say the same things about South Carolina where our
ReplyDeleteWinters are mild.
just one word: homes there are more affordable than in Romania!
